If intuition is a muscle, it needs to be practiced. It needs to be toned, stretched, and exercised. Intuition is thought to be the willingness to pry things open, to see behind another’s eyes, to hear beyond the mundane. It is thought to be a skill, but it is more than a skill. Because intuition is not something to be learned, it is already there. If intuition were a muscle, the willingness to work at it is what will strengthen it. And like any muscle, forced to extremes will weaken it.
If I were an artist, I would draw a human with an extra muscle: intuition.
